Why Operation Roger Wilco gives to hospitalized Veterans & Military
Concern
Many times, Hospitalized Military & Veterans are alone and separated from their loved ones.
They may feel lonely and emotionally isolated due their physical injuries and limited visitation.
Activities of distraction, such as crafts and reading, shift the focus of hospitalization and provide a constructive outlet for emotions of isolation and helplessness, and helps the person to feel better about their situation.
Learning about PTSD and Suicide Awareness help understanding of feelings caused by anxiety, stress, anger, and depression.
How we help
Operation Roger Wilco lets our heroes know that they are not alone, by a personal visit to military and veteran hospitals where we give Health & Comfort Items, Therapeutic Crafts, Reading Material while providing PTSD & Suicide Awareness education, and Career Materials & Opportunities. All at no cost to the Hospitalized Military and Veterans.
